The 100% truth is you can’t choose where to lose body fat.
Only in an ideal world.
But what you can do is…
Change the size of your body.
And the shape of it. 😍
That means lose weight and build a physique or figure that you like at the same time!
A hip to waist ratio you like.
Or arms and shoulders ratio in comparison to your waist.
Some people don’t care about having a six pack or 4% body fat.
Me included 🙋🏾♂️
Some of us want to look and feel good in our bodies.
So for once and for all here’s how you lose weight and improve your physique whilst still living like a normal human.
Lift weights to lose weight.
Many people think you lose weight doing cardio and then later you tone up using weights.
But lifting weights starting off is going to help you drop fat quicker. While you are also working on muscle groups to sculpt your body and improve your posture.
Lifting weights makes you burn calories during the workout and for the next 48 hours after it too!
Have a high protein diet.
High protein foods help us to keep hunger at bay and increases our metabolism.
But also protein will help you build muscle which then makes your body burn more calories than usual to keep that muscle.
The benefits are endless.
When I say protein I’m talking, meat, fish, eggs, Greek yoghurt, nuts, oats, lentils, beans even supplements help.
If you take one thing from this article today it’s this,
If you aim to be strong whilst losing weight, you will go a lot further than just aiming to be skinny.
Aiming to be skinny will screw up your behaviours in the process.
Restricting calories too much.
Obsessing over the scales.
Slowing down your metabolism.
And sometimes it leads to body dysmorphia.
So you can lose weight and sculpt your body’s shape to your liking. ✅
But there’s no other way to do that without resistance training.
Kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance bands, barbells and so on.
